Pillory

On our pillory we record the undesirable behavior of all parties that play a role in the rental world. The purpose of the pillory is to warn you as a (potential) tenant about undesirable rental practices. Are you coming to live in Groningen or have you just found a new place to live? Below you will find the names of the real estate parties we have encountered in the past three years:

If a complaint is not followed up with a new complaint after three years, we will remove the relevant names. If you do not agree with the complaint, you have the right to object to this by sending an e-mail to info@r-hood.nl.

Rules

Pronunciations

In the event that the tenants of Robin Hood win their case through rulings by the Rent Tribunal or subdistrict court judge, we will publish these agreements here. The reporting date is the day on which the court decision was made. The names of these landlords will remain for three years. Any recovery is only possible through good behavior and after the duration has expired.

Tenants complaints

If tenants report a complaint against a landlord, manager or real estate agent, we will respond and act as a mediator if necessary. If the seriousness necessitates publication and the burden of proof is convincing enough, we will record the complaints that are not resolved. If a complaint is ultimately resolved, this will lead to a withdrawal from the pillory. 

Robin Hood's observations

Robin Hood can also make observations himself. Evidence will then be collected to substantiate this undesirable behavior. If a situation is ultimately resolved, this will lead to a withdrawal from the pillory. 

After three years, an undesirable behavior expires if it has not been renewed by a subsequent behavior of the same kind.
